Kitty Arosteguy – Owner
Kitty comes from a background of creative and powerful women. Both of her grandmothers and her mother were all entrepreneurs, and all were single mothers while they handled their businesses. Her mother and sister are also in the wellness and beauty business. She discovered her gift of healing in 1997 while she worked in the corporate world of management. In her off time, she received her education in skin and massage and began her work at the Day Spa of Ojai while still working in the corporate world. During this time, she received awards such as Business of the Year, The Beautification Award, Top Spa in the Central Coast, International Press for Girls Getaways, and Top Female Owned Business–just to name a few.
Kitty has also operated other businesses, such as Haven Wine Bistro, which she also designed and ran from 2009 until 2013 when she sold the business and went back to her true passion of wellness.
She has also been a co-owner of a pilates studio and at one time, had The Spa Central Coast located in The Avila Lighthouse Resort in Avila Beach. In 2014, her main focus was to bring The Spa Central Coast to Paso Robles, the town she has resided in since 2004. During Kitty’s off time, she enjoys traveling, Bikram Yoga and self awareness and transformation work. Her passion is to share the gift of love and to continue to be a tool in others self-healing. Loving the beauty of nature surrounding her, Joanna has embraced the golden state of California as her home. Having trekked along the warm beaches, rugged Sierra mountains, and hot, yet serene deserts for the past 20 years, she is content here. It was the love of hiking with her Dad in Washington state that awoke her passion for the working human body, which is capable of great potential to perform with eloquence and finesse. She became fascinated with the body’s miraculous ability to heal itself when given the right environment to thrive. Her mom and grandmother taught her the importance of good nutrition which fueled Joanna’s passion for sports including soccer, volleyball, basketball, and even the flying trapeze in a local youth circus. These activities brought joy to Joanna in her younger years. Joanna specializes in Swedish/American massage, deep tissue massage, pre-natal massage, warm stones, aroma therapy, and sports massage.

Katie started to lay down the foundation of her journey as a Massage Therapist in 2005 at the Healing Arts Institute. Katie began her adventure by gaining certification in Swedish massage, Raindrop therapy, Myofascial bodywork, and Reiki. She continued her education at the California Holistic Institute in 2015 to complete the 500 hour program by October 2016. She enriched her mind and practice by taking new classes: Reflexology, Intro to Cranial Sacral, Zen Thai Touch, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Prenatal and Infant massage, Polarity, and advanced anatomy classes. She loves learning knowing that there is still more to learn in order to make a difference in humanity through beneficial application of touch.
When she first started her practice in 2005, she mostly worked on injuries and athletes in a chiropractors office. She then took Reiki and found a spiritual awakening take place in her. Already aware that our bodies are constantly in motion and today’s technology continuously stimulating our minds, it became apparent to her that the soul needed a peaceful place to dwell at times. She saw how massage allows stillness in the mind and offers that sacred place to others. It grounds you to the present, physically and emotionally and allows the body, mind, and soul to free up that often bound or scattered energy as a result of our busy lives.
So whether you are wanting a day of relaxation or you have had a chronic pain due to injuries, come in and see Katie, and she will leaving you floating on a sea of peace.
